We have space and other updates
I have been neglectful to update the blog. There has been a lot to report, but there are times where you get so caught up in things that it is tough to sit down and write it all out.
To be honest, I kinda stare at this page and say…um…now what the heck do I say? To be honest, I am not sure, but I intend to just write and see what happens.
First of all, since this is allegedly about planting. We have space. It is in Lockport, Illinois. It is a ministry center owned by the First Congregational Church of Lockport, UCC. I think the building used to be a bank many years ago, but I am not sure.
They need to let me know the amount of liability insurance I need and we need to sign a contract and they need to tell me what the weekly rent is gonna be…but we got the green light. Wheee!
I look at them as another partner. I answer to Pastor Fran and his church as my authority, but their church, like a few others are going to partners in supporting the church. More to come soon. I just needed to get my feet wet.
