Got Space. So Now What?

Okay,

Time to look at the last year in brief. Had a heart attack.  Door opened up for Bible College.  Got me one of them degree things. Wrote seven pages.  Fran and his church supported seven pages.  Next thing I know I am an intern. Then some people got excited about this thing.  Then a door opens up for not only space…but wonderful space at a price we can afford.

This week I am going to sit down and have a lot of meeting with a lot of people. The door is open and it does not matter if we think we are ready, God thinks we are. If this turns out to be a few dozen people that grows…cool.  If, however, it is like a dozen of us sitting in a room for the next five years…cool.

Sunday is a door that needed to be opened. It had to be opened.  But it is still not the focus on what we are about.  For some, it will be their only door, but there will be others who help with haiti or single moms and do not do Sunday.  That is okay too.  Sunday is not church…the people are the church.  But this was a wheel that many cogs were seeking to connect with and it is here so the mechanism that drives this body has yet another opportunity to move.

I am going to have these meetings and some may call me lax.  I am not.  I am relieved and elated and grateful and excited…but it a big piece that was needed, but it is a part of a whole.  A good part.

I cannot wait to see what it looks like and feels like.  This is not me, this is we and God is a part of that we.
